How does it works ?
You are reffering costumers from your site to a certain website using tracking ID (links to the website with your special ID in it) Your commision can be achived in 2 different ways :
1. You get paid for new person that submit his details to the website.
2. You get paid if the customer purchase one of the product in this website.

The first method is PPL - Pay Per Lead.
The seconed method is PPS - Pay Per Sale.
Affiliates programs are revnue sharing arrangements that was setup by companies selling products or services. If you have a website or a newsletter , You can get commisions for reffering customers to those companies websites.

A good example for an affiliate website is AMAZON.COM. By joining as an affiliate to amazon.com (check for "Join associates" at the bottom of amazon home page) you can get text links, Banners or Widgets for a specific product that you want to promote and then you can put those in your website. When ever a customer is clicking on one of those links and make a purchase, You earn commision.
